Description
The Big Leaf Maple. A beautiful large tree from the Pacific North West, which creates a stately specimen with striking foliage and once old enough, will flower and fruit in profusion. I do wonder whether this would make a good subject for coppicing or pollarding, along the lines of Catalpa or Paulownia but haven’t yet had the courage to tackle one of the trees!
