The Vesco A1 bypass secateurs are perhaps the most familiar design, based on the tried and trusted industry standard. The slender blades allow intricate pruning within parts of the plant that chunkier secateurs wouldn’t reach.
The aluminium alloy handles are coated with anti-slip rubber meaning they are comfortable to hold, while the rubber shock absorbers between the handles help to reduce stress to the hands when in use.
The steel blade has a high carbon content and is hot forged and tempered to give greater strength while at the same time reducing the overall weight. Both the blade and the counter-blade can be adjusted to ensure a clean and precise cut.
An integral grease reservoir keeps the secateurs constantly lubricated and the static counter-blade has a sap groove to avoid the build up of debris. The blade and the counter-blade play can be adjusted easily to ensure a clean and precise cut.
